My husband, ( Malcolm Nicholls ) received a bill for medical services that seemed incorrect. Val was notified of our situation and promptly addressed the problem and contacted us. Val was courteous and handled our inquiry professionally. She helped resolve Malcolm's billing issue. Ms. Val Spence is definitely a positive asset to MSKCC and the organization. "Recently had an appointment at MSK skin center in Hauppauge. I am writing to let you know that Mark and Johanna at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, spending time listening to my issue and following through to correct it while I was at my appointment — above and beyond!! Not only helpful but good sense of humor which people need to brighten the day . I would also like to say I have been a patient for almost 20 years and the scheduler (Michelle ) and the nurses I have received cared from ( either with Dr Defazio or Dr. Chen) have always been kind and compassionate. I cannot think Of one time I have ever felt I uncomfortable or left with a feeling of negativity from anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at the Hauppauge center ! The doctors are ok too! ( lol) "
