"We have been coming into Sloan from New Jersey on a somewhat regular basis for the past four years due to cancer diagnosis for both my wife and my sister. While we have been very pleased with the care and concern that the medical staff has across the board, we wanted to recognize the staff in your parking facility as well. There hasn't been a time when we weren't greeted with kindness, a smile and a general feeling that they recognize we have more important things to worry about and that they've got us covered. This is unlike just about every other parking experience we've had in NYC. "This year on February 6th marked 4 years since we had our first appt at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with Dr. Mark Kris and his team. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have consulted with him. He articulated Gary's condition, treatment and care in a gentle and compassionate way. He, along with his team, Alison, Stephanie and Ramena have continued with every interaction. Dr. Kris is caring and kind. During our journey Dr. Kris has recommended to other providers to consult and receive treatment from MSKCC. All who have been nothing but professional and competent in Gary's care. This past year Gary was being treated for his lung cancer and prostrate cancer. With Dr. Kris's guidance we met Dr. Ehdaie, Dr. Zelefsky and Dr Rimner. We appreciate Dr. Ehdaie for his recommendation not to have prostrate surgery even if we didn't at the time. Dr. Zelefsky explained the diagnosis, test results and recommended treatment in a gentle way. Dr. McBride explained the effects of the treatment and ongoing follow up for his prostrate cancer. Dr. Rimner was sweet and caring and we feel fortunate to have been a patient of his. It would be remiss to not mention Dr. Vander Els who stopped Gary's coughing. We thank God for him everyday. This past fall we were traveling to Europe and a few days before and while there Gary experienced side effects from his prostrate radiation. Colleen Beegle, NP and Kristina Tafuri, NP were accessible and supportive. They called and emailed us to check on him. It helped to know they were available while we were in Ireland. We were extremely grateful for that. All the providers we have encountered at MSKCC have gone above and beyond to ensure Gary's health and well-being. We are and will be forever grateful to everyone. "

"I want to send a thank you to receptionist Caitlyn Martinez who was working today on the 3rd floor at the 300 East 66 location. I had messed up one my appointment and as a patient who is only in nyc every 2.5-3 months was quite distraught at my mistake especially because I was meeting with a new member of my care team. Caitlyn was very kind, didn’t make me feel worse about messing up appointments (first time I havw done this) and patiently listened to why I was desperately trying to have a physical exam.
