The MSK Legacy Match Challenge
Step 1: Include MSK in your will, trust, or retirement plans
The following gifts qualify for the Legacy Match Challenge:
- Gifts that name MSK as a beneficiary of your will or trust, retirement account, life insurance policy, donor-advised fund, or bank, brokerage, or other financial account.
- Gifts that provide you or a loved one with lifetime income, such as: a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trust.
- Gifts of real estate or other personal property.
Step 2: Document your planned giving to MSK
Let us know about your qualifying legacy commitment to MSK using this planned gift notification form.
Step 3: Unlock a matching gift to support MSK
Legacy gifts will be matched as follows:
- Commitments with a value of up to $999,999 unlock a 10% match (outright gift) up to $10,000.
- Commitments with a value of more than $1 million unlock an outright gift of $25,000.
- Commitments with an unknown gift amount unlock a match of $1,000.

How do I participate in the Legacy Match Challenge?

Then, document your commitment by completing our gift notification form to generate a match — an outright gift of unrestricted funds that will make an immediate impact on research, innovation, and patient care at MSK.
What types of gifts qualify for the Legacy Match Challenge?
add removeYou can name MSK as a beneficiary of your will or trust, retirement account (IRA, 401(k), etc.), life insurance policy, donor-advised fund, or bank, brokerage, or other financial account; make a qualifying contribution with a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trust; or give a gift of real estate or other personal property to qualify for matching funds.
I have already included MSK in my estate plans. Can I still participate?
add removeYes! Existing Elizabeth Hamilton Cullum Society members are eligible to participate. If you have not yet completed a gift notification form or other documentation, please do so now to receive the matching gift. You can also make an additional commitment and receive the matching gift. If you share new details about your already-documented gift, you can receive a $5,000 match.
