Through year-round, nationwide fundraising events, The Cancer Couch Foundation funds research breakthroughs that are changing lives. The foundation has raised over $6 million since inception.

Rebecca Timlin-Scalera, PhD, founded The Cancer Couch Foundation in 2016 while undergoing her own treatment to support advanced research and raise awareness of metastatic breast cancer.

Event funds support the work of MSK’s Sarat Chandarlapaty, MD, PhD, Naddisy Foundation Chair in Breast Cancer Research, to develop new treatments for breast cancers resistant to standard therapies.

Rebecca Timlin-Scalera, PhD, dedicated her life to raising funds and awareness for metastatic breast cancer research after her own diagnosis. She passed away in 2019, but her legacy lives on through The Cancer Couch Foundation.
