About the MOMBies®

The MOMbies is a monstrous (and mostly friendly) dance troupe of mom zombies who creep into formation on Halloween in a flash mob of epic proportions. It all started in 2016 when Terry Davis, MOMbies founder and creative genius, had the idea to get a group of moms together for a flash mob set to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Back then, it was a simple effort to embarrass their children and do something uniquely fun together.

But the idea took hold, and soon the group’s many supporters all sought a way to channel the magic of the MOMbies into something even more meaningful by fundraising for a lifesaving cause. Now in its 10th year, the MOMbies directs 100% of funds raised through its events to metastatic breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) because research is the answer. It’s why the MOMbies dance.
