"I have been going to the Basking Ridge facility for a number of years and want to give a shout out to 2 wonderful employees: Chris in MRI has made me feel cared for time and time again. I'm quite afraid of the MRI process. The holding your breath can be quite unnerving and Chris and his team make the process so very comfortable. I know he sees many patients, but I always feel like I get special treatment. Kaye (or K...not sure) in Lab that does blood testing. I am very afraid of blood being taken from my hand, but my protocol says that I must. It can be a very painful experience. Kaye made me feel like I was in the best of hands and she was right. The procedure was very gentle and her bedside manner was so lovely. We giggled a lot. While I find all of the staff lovely for the most part, I wanted to give these 2 the recognition they deserve."

"I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at Memorial Sloan Kettering who cared for me throughout my surgery and hospital stay. I felt very fortunate to have such an excellent surgeon, Dr. Widmar, and such a wonderful care team. But I especially want to recognize my RNs, **Adrienne and Emmy**, who took care of me for the majority of my stay. Going through a major surgery and everything that comes with it can be overwhelming, frightening, and emotionally exhausting. Adrienne and Emmy made that experience so much easier for me. They were incredibly kind, caring, compassionate, and genuinely down-to-earth. They never made me feel like I was just another patient or another task on their list. What meant so much to me was that they took the time to actually listen. They were always there to answer my questions and care for me, but they also took the time to talk with me about things that had nothing to do with my medical care. Those little conversations and moments of genuine human connection meant more to me than they probably realize. They are truly special people, and I believe the care they give goes far beyond their clinical responsibilities. Their compassion, warmth, and kindness helped me feel safe and supported during a very vulnerable time, and I truly believe they contributed to helping me heal and get on my way toward recovery. Adrienne and Emmy, thank you for everything you did for me. I will never forget the kindness you showed me during one of the most difficult experiences of my life. "I would like to take a moment to recognize Eliot Espinal, Radiation Oncology Medical Coordinator. Eliot went above and beyond to secure information regarding the status of my husband‘s testing. What was supposed to be a one hour procedure, unfortunately ran much longer. Eliot made several phone calls and connected me with the people caring for my husband. He asked if there was anything else I needed, even offering to turn the coffee machine back on!! At the end of a long evening, in a desolate waiting room, Eliot was a helpful and reassuring person. A simple gesture done with great compassion. Thank you so much!! "

"Hello. My name is Greg Baiocchi ( 9/8/57). I had major neck dissection surgery at MSK on May 18th for metastatic thyroid cancer. This was my second surgery at MSK. I cannot thank ALL the staff enough for the excellent care I received. Starting with my amazing surgeon, Dr. K. Tam. He is a true “maestro” leading a well tuned orchestra. Sweet music! He is skilled and compassionate. A true gift to his patients! To his support staff; Dr. Hintze, Katharine Freudenberg, Megan Graham, floor nurses; Kaia, Lauren K., Andy L., Vanessa, and Kiruthyagini S. They were all great. To Lotus Yam from ST who reassured me that my voice and swelling would improve. To Lisa Keller for her ongoing support and guidance. To the patient care aides and food service. All were professional and caring. As a pediatric oncology social worker for 35 years I knew what it was like for families when they received exceptional care. Not as easy when “ shoe is on a different foot” as that recipient of care. I have high expectations too and those expectations were met and surpassed. Thank you again for all you did for me and I know you will continue to do so for the many patients to follow! "

"To those who solicit feedback, please accept the following words of praise: MSK's team of professionals has shown incredible dedication and initiative over recent months in helping my husband obtain a targeted therapy (Futibatinib) that had been denied by insurance. The hurdle posed by the insurance company came out of the blue and was not just unexpected but also frustrating and baffling, given that my husband had been receiving this targeted therapy since December 2023 via insurance. After several months in the first part of 2026 of appeals to the insurance company and efforts to identify other possible solutions, success was finally achieved through a combined effort by Dr. Eileen O'Reilly, Tiffany, Michelle and others on Dr. O'Reilly's clinical team, and also by Lucia Rivera, an MSK Senior Patient Financial Navigator. That group succeeded in ensuring that my husband would continue to receive this targeted therapy. We are grateful for the team's ongoing commitment, persistence and initiative. As our efforts moved ahead, Lucia Rivera was particularly fantastic. She was relentless in pursing every possible lead, and she was incredibly professional and proactive in keeping my husband and me updated on where things stood. "I’m not sure this is the right place but I wanted to say thank you to Aida my MRI tech at the Evelyn Lauder breast center. I was there this morning, 3/30, for an MRI. I’ve had bad experiences at other medical facilities in an MRI so I was quite anxious. She was kind, compassionate and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. It was a night and day experience. I wanted to make sure she was recognized! "

"Hello, I am writing to formally recognize the extraordinary service of Patricia Taddeo. My mother, Elena Aguirre, was scheduled for surgery in January, but we were caught in an exhausting cycle of insurance delays between Horizon and Turning Point. Between member ID changes and authorizations being "cancelled" without explanation, the process was a nightmare. My mother was in significant pain, and the surgery had to be postponed twice. During this incredibly stressful time, Patricia was our lifeline. She didn't just check in; she called our family every single morning and every afternoon. She never let a Friday pass without giving us a final update before the weekend. Her persistence was the only thing that kept us going when it felt like the insurance system had failed us. When the authorization finally went through, Patricia called us before she even notified the surgical team because she wanted to be the one to give us that peace of mind.
